Congress Offers Big Three Automakers Help, Makes Demands in Exchange
Suppose I am a highly talented turn around artist. Suppose I am offered a key position at any of the big 3. I earn over 200k per year. I am told however that no matter how successful I am, I will not get a bonus. Also, if there are factors beyond my control that lead to failure (worsening economy, tighter credit, ...), I cannot receive a severance package.

Great way to attract and retain the best and brightest! THIS is class warfare. How dare someone earn 2 or 3 times what a factory worker earns with OT!!!

yep, I agree. you are not a math genius. The companies that grew large grew profits ... that has nothing to do with GDP.

little math lesson...for the yield to hit 10%, the stock would have to go to $1.24/.10, or $12.40. Now that that is settled, ...

Few persons could be WORSE than Parsons....the massive destroyer of wealth that he is!

Would love to buy 10k shares at current price to hold for long period (10 years) to see where the shares are then. Citi went through the same share price issue in the early 90's.

Which is a Better Short Candidate - Capital One or American Express?
ah, look at their stock prices. Puts at 20 have inherently more risk for COF as it is still around 30 vs 20 for axp.

BTW, capital spending is not put on credit cards.

COF also has a large retail banking presence.

Your article is seriously lacking in depth.
