Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Tuesday, October 7.

Bullish Calls:

United Parcel (UPS) -- “I am recommending United Parcel and that’s it. They are a better pick than Forward Air.”
Packaging Corp (PKG) -- “Packaging is a buy. The stock might take a hit in this market, but the 5% yield is worth it.”
Dentply International (XRAY) -- “This is the kind of stock I look for in this environment. Dentply isn’t economically sensitive and it’s getting cheaper."
Alliance Resources (ARLP) -- “This is another high yielder – 10% -- that’s cheap. I am bullish on Alliance Resources.”

Bearish Calls:

Forward Air (FWRD) -- “Forward Air is a dicey one.”
GameStop (GME) -- “No, no, no. That trade has come and gone. I think that this is going to be a miserable Christmas and anyone that sells gaming stuff is a sell, sell, sell. "

Is this the same Cramer? I thought Cramer just recommended everyone pull all their money out of the stock market.

I was so shocked to hear that Jim Cramer actually said that.

I am a big buyer of GameStop right now, and I still like Cramer. His problem is that he doesn't understand the niche which GameStop serves, i.e., their used games business. The bad economy is great for GME, because their margins are double on used games. The console base is already installed. Cramer is a generalist - he won't get them all right.
